When unwanted things happen in my life, often times, the first thing that will pop into my mind is, “What have I been manifesting?”
For me, this can easily turn into a variation of “What did I do to deserve this?”
Does this sound familiar to you?
I think it’s easy to fall into that mindset, when life is piling up and we can’t see an end in sight. And, with all of the information in the media today about increasing our awareness and bringing what we want into our lives by manifesting it, when we find ourselves in the midst of drama or chaos, we blame ourselves.
The reality is, the more we blame ourselves, the more it keeps us in the storm. And, the tools or insight we gain from navigating through it are often what we need to find our true path.
I’ll never be thankful for the trauma I’ve endured, but I am thankful for what I’ve learned in my healing journey.
I believe we’re here to learn, grow, and become our best selves.
When I’m in the midst of drama or chaos, the best gift I can give myself is to step back and view the overall picture from an outside perspective.
From this viewpoint, I can see the patterns of others, the un-healed parts of myself, the false beliefs I’ve been buying into, and most importantly the things I DON’T want.
Again, it’s easy to beat ourselves up for focusing or seeing what we don’t want. But having this awareness gives us power.
The power of CHOICE.
We can choose to stay in the drama and chaos OR we can choose to figure out what we really DO want, refocus our energy into this powerful new vision, and create our best life.
