Over the last few months, I have been working on clarifying what my vision is. In my experience, manifesting what you really want comes from having a clear definition of what that is. There are many great speakers and authors who teach the importance of first defining your “WHY,” which I think is important. It gives your vision wings. It brings you back to your passion – what fires you up. It reminds you why you need to look forward and not back. It also helps keep you on track – one look at your WHY when an opportunity knocks at your door will help you determine whether or not it fits in with where you’re headed. In his blog “Blogging Your Passion,” Jonathan Milligan helps you create a WHY acronym. It’s the coolest way I’ve seen to create something that really fits you – for whatever goals you are reaching for. Here’s mine:
L = Lifestyle – I want to be able to be paid to do what I love, be able to do it from anywhere, make an incredible lifestyle for my family, be able to do it whenever I want and wherever I want. I want to be able to live life to the fullest.
I = Inspire – I want to inspire others by helping them see “The Gift,” a shift in perspective that will allow them to discover what they need to do in order to achieve their desires.
F = Fire – I want to do something that lights me on FIRE everyday. That I am so passionate about, people can feel it!
T = Transform – I believe there is always a way to do anything. There is always another perspective and that’s what allows us to transform into being what we truly be.
